Peter graduated Dalhousie University in 1977 (B. Comm) 1979 (M.B.A.) and 1988
(L.L.B.) He became a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island in 1989 and
the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in 1994.
He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, a past board member of the
Community Legal Information Association and Hospice PEI. Currently he sits on the
Real Property and the Unauthorized Practice Committees of the Law Society of Prince
Edward Island....

Peter has been involved with a wide variety of litigation and business law engagements.
He practiced throughout the maritime provinces providing services to a wide variety of

practiced in all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Aaron Graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2014 (B.A.) and Dalhousie’s Schulich School of law in 2020 (J.D.). Aaron undertook his articles in June 2020 with Peter Ghiz and joined the firm as an associate in June 2021.
Aaron received awards and recognition for his academic achievements, which include UPEI’s Global Issues Excellence in Writing Award, and the Schulich Scholarship at Dalhousie’s Law School.
